Day 1: San Gimignano & Siena
Your tour manager/driver meets you at 9:00 am in front of Platform 16 at Florence’s train station. Our first stop is San Gimignano. So, you have two free hours to explore this beautiful medieval town and enjoy its charming artisan shops, or view its fabulous Renaissance and contemporary art. At midday, our tour manager takes you to a local farmhouse and you can have lunch and taste the Vernaccia, San Gimignano’s renowned white wine. After lunch, we proceed to beautiful Siena, where you have until 5:00 pm to visit this magnificent ancient town. So, step into Siena’s heart, the Piazza del Campo, where the Palio horse race takes place each summer. Feeling energetic? Climb the Torre del Mangia’s 400-plus steps for a superb 360-degree view over the city. The driver returns you to your new home, a fantastic accommodation in a stunning medieval "Borgo".
Day 2 : Chianti Wine Tour
Wine aficionados of this Best of Tuscany tour, because this day is for you. We devote today entirely to food and wine. Then we visit three wineries and cellars to learn the history and secrets of Chianti’s famous wine. So, once we have sampled Chianti’s delectable offerings, we progress to Greve, home to Tuscany’s most famous butcher and deli shop, and the ideal place for you to buy the highest-quality products in the region.

Day 3: Hot springs and Val d’Orcia
How better to wind up your Best of Tuscany tour experience? After breakfast, pack your things and get ready for full immersion and relaxation at the magnificent outdoor hot springs at San Filippo. Enjoy your free time in this tiny village before lunching in a local trattoria because we end the day by driving through the stunning landscapes of the Val d’Orcia region. We will visit a local winery in Montalcino and taste some of the Brunello. So, we will return to Florence in the evening.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES:
Departure from Florence’s Santa Maria Novella station, platform number 16 at 9:00 a.m or Hotel. Arrive back at the station at approximately 7:00 pm.
TOUR GROUPS:
Our tours are designed for groups of no more than 8 people, as each client’s needs and enjoyment remains our top priority.
Minimum participants: Two people.
PRICE AND PAYMENT:
The price is 2400,00 AUD per person in Full board.
Single supplement: $250
A 25% deposit is required to confirm your place. The balance is due 30 days before the tour’s departure date.
If you book the tour within 30 days of departure, we require a payment in the full amount.
