Tour of Sicily itinarary

1°day: Palermo

Arrivals in the airport and meeting with turistic guide. Then, transfert from Palermo to accommodation in hotel. So, refresh and starting to explore the culture and Sicilian kitchen. The itinerary starting with a visit in the Capo Market. The oldest market in Palermo, where you see and taste the famous street food. So, panelle, arancine, crocchette and pani ca meusa. After that you’ll visit Palermo that it extends along beautiful tirrenian bay. So, you will be enchanted to the wide boulevards of the city. And to the historical center and to the baroque builds... You will visit the main attractions of the city like Norman section, Quattro canti. Return in hotel to dinner and night.

2° day: Monreale , Erice e Segesta

Breakfast and departure to Monreale. Visit the imposing Arab-Norman cathedral (famous for the rich Byzantine mosaics that decorate the inside) and its beautiful cloister, masterpieces of art, sculpture and inlay. Continue to Erice, a town situated at about 1000 meters high, with a view of the archipelago of the Egadi islands. Lunch. In the afternoon we will continue with the visit of Segesta one of the most beautiful places in Sicily located on Mount Barbaro, the top 400 meters above sea level, founded by the Elimi. The fame of Segesta is undoubtedly linked above all to the famous Doric temple, and, on the highest peak of Mount Barbaro, there is a north-oriented theater, in the direction of the Gulf of Castellammare or Mazara. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

3 ° day: Mozia, Cantina Florio, Sambuca Di Sicilia

After breakfast at the hotel departure to Marsala. So, we will visit the island of Mozia. Then visit the Florio winery.
After lunch continue to Sambuca di Sicilia because it is a typical Sicilian village that in 2016 was voted the most beautiful Borgo of Italy.  In this wonderful destination you can enjoy its historic center with its beautiful walk. The Carmine church built in 1530 but in fact you'll notice that instead demonstrates a strong fourteenth-century style. So, to get there you have to climb a top a picturesque uphill road between two majestic palm trees. After the visit of Sambuca di S. proceed to Agrigento, arrival in the evening, accommodation in hotel and dinner.

4°day: Agrigento/Borgo di Sant’Angelo Muxaro/Valle dei Templi

We will travel to reach the hinterland of Agrigento. Our guide will then take us to a bakery to taste biscuits and home-made cookies. Then we will visit a shepard’s house to taste soft pecorino cheese and ricotta cheese, still warm. This walking itinerary really takes us far from the classic tourist routes. 5°day : Cooking Class - Park Cultural Farm / Catania

Transfer to Favara. This experience has guests spending a morning at the Farm Cultural Park of Favara (Agrigento). Program:
Cooking course lasting about three hours, using fresh, local organic produce. Guests will receive instructional hands-on lessons in the preparation of three traditional Sicilian dishes. Tour of the art gallery and courtyards (the gardens, current exhibits, museum shop, etc.). After lunch , departure to Catania. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

6°day: Etna Tour e visit Winery / Taormina

Breakfast in Hotel and transfer to Etna Mountain. the biggest active volcano in Europe. Beautiful and famous not only for volcan phenomena, but as well for the breathtaking view. And the different kind of flora and fauna that you can find there. We will visit the winery where born a particular kind of wine because to temperature and special volcanic soils, where it grows a particular type of grape. In the afternoom visit to Taormina. Meeting with the guide and visit of Taormina. Here we visit the greek-Roman amphitheater, Taormina's Cathedral, the Piccolo Teatro Odeon, the Corvaia Palace. And we can take a walk on the Corso Umberto. The guided tour will last about 2-3 hours. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

7°day: Siracusa/Noto

Departure to Siracusa. Visit of Archeological Park of the Neapolis (Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheater, Latomie and Dionisio’s ear). Visit to the historical center of Ortigia. So, along the little street of the centre you could see the famous Aretusa mountain. Lunch in restaurant and departure to the close Noto, Barocco Capital in Sicily and UNESCO Heritage. Along its main axis you will admire palaces, churches and convents. The main are th Cathedral, Nicolaci Palace, Villadorata and Ducezio Palace. Return in hotel in Siracusa with Dinner and Accommodation.

8°day:

After breakfast, free morning before to departure to the hotel from the Catania Airport
